Corporate Party: Through the Years

We all have sorts of styles to help us look and feel at our best. 👗In our corporate christmas party, we always have our theme to follow and its up to us how will we do it in our own fashionable way. 👸🏼

As for me, I always go for what comforts me and of course what makes bagay.😬 I don’t usually bother myself with what am I going to wear 💁🏻because I just know what I want. I prefer to be comfortable but with a touch of style👌 Comfort and ease are my keys when getting dressed, which means I like wearing clothes that don’t limit my abilities to run when in rush💃🏻, to roam around to other tables👣, to bend down when I have something to get👇🏼, and other stuffs I have to do when I’m there. I had read somewhere in which I totally agree📃, it’s just one step trick to a perfect christmas party get-up, and that is to go “Fake Fancy”, the art of looking dressed up when in fact you are super comfortable. 👍🏻

So how I ace the “fake fancy” thing through the years? Lemme share it. (But you have to find me in my posted pic. lol!)😉

• 2008 Hawaiian Christmas Party  For this party, since I’m young and less likely to care what do I really want, I choose to wear it in a white spaghetti strap top, blue and white floral skirt, and a flip flops.🌾🌻 Oh diba, so hawaiian na.😂 Okay next!😛

• 2009 CSD Cosplay Christmas Party Head-To-Toe Black. ⚫️ I’m in a gothic fashion here.👊🏼 A black button down dress, black knee-sock and black sneakers, ring a bell for the skater girl Avril?⛸ Without looking it one-dimensional and boring, I had my hair brush-up and make it in long curly locks and had a smokey eyes in a black and blue eyeshadow. Rock on!😎

• 2010 CSD Masquerade Christmas Party  Go with the flow. This is something that is unplanned get-up. I can’t think of any dress to wear.🙆🏻 I was just roaming around at Gaisano Ilustre and I saw this chic, elegant purple dress.👗 So I just bought it and from there, wore it in the party.To match my dress, I also paired it in a violet shaded mask and had a pony-tailed hair. And oh, I was a participant here in christmas choral group in which we won (well, something to brag about😊☺️). Smile girls!📷📸

• 2011 CSD Fashionista Christmas Party The gossip girl. I was inspired with one of the gossip girls style, Leighton Meester👸🏼. It started with a headband. Okay not really, but what I like with her outfits as Blair Waldorf aside wearing a preppy headband, is an outfit that’s sweet without being obnoxious, prim and soo adorable👒👠🎒. So for my GG fash moment: a preppy black and gold twine-like headband, white inner top covered in a gray suit-like casual blazer, gray balloon skirt, platform sky-high heels👠, and black hand bag👛. Posh!

• 2012 CSD Christmas Party (I think its a Wig Party? I forgot na!😂)    Korean-look? I dunno. Liking the idea to try wearing pumps👠 in shorts, to look more casual and simplier since having a wig is quite a statement in an outfit. What I have is a silk gray long sleeves, mustard cotton shorts and skin-tonned pumps👠. Just a tip: The type and height of heels, bare legs in shorts can look provocative so make the rest of your outfit a little more conservative (longer sleeves or looser fitting tops).👍🏻😉

• 2013 (A Party That Was Supposed to be…)  This would have been worn in a Vintage Themed Party.😍 Classic and Elegant are the words that best describe this outfit.😱 Looking long, lean and luxurious in a black and white jumpsuit. I so love it but for some reasons, I did not bought it yet because its too early and decided to be back to get it a week after our party. But a saddened calamity happened when Typhoon Yolanda struck in the Philippines.😔 To show emphaty and solidarity, the company decided not to have a party and extend help through donations to the victims.🙏

• 2014 Merry Pinnacle Christmas: A Night of Music & Glamour It’s a semi-formal themed party. So I chose a simple black mini dress.👗It’s a combination of a silk in the inside and a sheer on the outside fabric as its design with a V-neckline. Coco Chanel perhaps said it best: “Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. Its beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”👸🏼                        Well, it’s a Lily Collins inspired look as well and I do it all by myself (proud!). “One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a Little Black Dress.👗” -Karl Lagerfeld

Now for 2015, its a Neon Themed Christmas Party. I already had in my mind of what will I wear. What would it be?🤔 Soon.🙊😉
